At Creekside Estates in Lockport, Beechen & Dill Homes has saved its best for last.
Well before the 108-home community approached its capacity this summer, Beechen & Dill Homes president Matt Dill made a strategic decision to hold some of the community’s premier homesites until the very end, thereby granting those traditionally tough-to-sell final lots an intriguing marketplace edge. Creekside Estates’ six remaining homesites include walkout lots, as well as sites that look upon a conservation area, ensuring no future backyard neighbors.
“We wanted to make sure we gave our final buyers something that would really spark their interest,” said Dill, the 2011 Home Builder Association of Illinois’ Builder of the Year.
Combining award-winning homes, dynamic architecture, and valuedriven pricing, Creekside Estates emerged as one of the Southland’s most successful communities of the 21st Century. With monotony clauses rejecting a cookie-cutter look, energy-efficient construction techniques, and a 10-year structural warranty, Creekside Estates differentiated itself in a challenging real estate market and generated consistent interest from homebuyers. “Throughout our development of Creekside Estates, we always worked to stay ahead of the curve and to protect the community’s long-term value,” Dill said. “Now nearing capacity, we’re carrying that commitment through to the very end.”
On Creekside Estates’ six remaining premium homesites, prospective buyers can select from six different home plans — five, two-story options ranging in size from 2,600 square feet to 4,100 square feet, as well as the award-winning Brighton ranch plan. Prices start in the mid $300,000s.
All new homes at Creekside Estates come packed with high-end features, such as hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Sodded yards, first floor exterior brick, full basements and concrete driveways are also standard features.
In addition to its remaining homesites, Beechen & Dill also has a pair of award-winning model homes for sale, both featuring a wide range of upgrades and professional design. The Cascade, a “Home of the Month” honoree from the South- West Suburban Home Builders Association, features 3,700 square feet of luxury and architectural flair. The four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home is packed with compelling design selections and prized amenities, such as a formal dining room with custom woodwork and a spacious master suite with dual walk-in closets, sitting area, vaulted ceiling with skylight, separate shower with body sprayers and a whirlpool tub. Its gourmet kitchen features Viking appliances, granite countertops, oversized porcelain tile flooring, maple cabinets, crown molding and a butler’s panty with a sink and wine fridge.
The Cascade also includes a three-car garage as well as a full lookout basement with nine-foot ceilings and rough-in plumbing. The home is professionally decorated and custom painted, while its designer furniture is available for purchase as well.
Another SSHBA “Home of the Month” award winner, the Boulder, is also a Silver Key honoree. The four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom model home includes a three-car garage and professionally landscaped exterior with outdoor lighting, a rear patio and a sprinkler system.
The Boulder’s open floor plan features a gourmet kitchen with glazed maple cabinetry and upgraded hardware alongside Kitchen Aid appliances, granite countertops and an oversized island that showcases the home’s style. From a dramatic two-story foyer to cathedral ceilings and decorative archways, dynamic architectural elements are found throughout the home, while custombuilt design elements include a split oak staircase and handcrafted mantel over the great room fireplace.
“The Boulder and Cascade have been two of our most popular home plans at Creekside and these two models are key reasons why,” Williams said. “They’re both eyecatching homes.”
In Lockport, a 182-year-old city that has experienced extensive growth over the last decade, Creekside Estates residents benefit from the award-winning Lockport Township High School, a swelling commercial scene and transportation ease courtesy of two I-355 interchanges. “Lockport’s a community that’s been forward thinking and continues to meet its residents’ calls for modern conveniences,” Williams said.
