Hot just got hotter.
Claiming up to 3,100 square feet, the Breckenridge is one of four home plans currently offered at Misty Ridge in Romeoville. A fifth floor plan will debut later this spring and further diversify the community’s offerings. Prices in the Beechen & Dill Homes community start in the low $200,000s
Misty Ridge, the new single-family home community in southwest suburban Romeoville from Beechen & Dill Homes, has carried its surging momentum from a successful 2011 into the new year. Nearly 100 homes have been sold in the community of 166 single-family homes where prices begin in the low $200,000s.
Now into the second quarter of 2012, Beechen & Dill Homes remains one of Chicagoland’s most active homebuilders, a testament to the inherent value and first-rate quality of a Beechen & Dill-built home at Misty Ridge. In number of residential construction permits pulled, Beechen & Dill sits among the top three homebuilders in Will County.
Over the last six months, Misty Ridge community director Ed Kubiak reported, traffic at Misty Ridge has doubled, led by first-time Gen Y buyers and those looking to downsize from their existing home.
Kubiak said many recent and prospective homebuyers have specifically identified Misty Ridge’s competitive pricing, Beechen & Dill’s reputation, and Romeoville’s surging development as the primary attraction.
“A lot of local and national reports have told of the housing turnaround and it’s something we’re certainly seeing at Misty Ridge,” Kubiak said. “While interest in the community remained steady even at the heights of the economic downturn, we’re hitting new highs in traffic and sales now because so many recognize the opportunity available given the low interest rates and quality product we offer at Misty Ridge.”
Misty Ridge homebuyers can presently select from one of four versatile home plans – one ranch and a trio of two-story options – ranging in size from 1,900 to 2,600 square feet.
Later this spring, Beechen & Dill will unveil a versatile two-story, 2,300-square foot home plan with multi-functional spaces and flexible design options that will allow homeowners to decide bedroom count, garage size, architectural details, and more.
“We’ve always been a company that’s listened to our buyers and tried to provide elements they want, such as open floor plans and efficient homes. That philosophy is reflected in our four current home plans as well as the one we will debut in the coming months,” said Beechen and Dill Homes president Matt Dill, the Home Builder Association of Illinois’ 2011 Builder of the Year, an honor that recognizes the industry credibility Dill and his Burr Ridge-based firm have amassed in recent years.
Misty Ridge boasts award-winning architectural style, much of it gleaned from Summit Signature Homes, the custom-home building division of Beechen & Dill. With Summit building million-dollar homes in the west and southwest suburbs, Kubiak said there’s a trickle down effect to Beechen & Dill’s community development arm, including Misty Ridge.
“With Summit Signature Homes, we’re working on the cutting-edge of home design, which leads us to consistently explore the elements we can take from our custom homes and bring into our semi-custom homes at attractive, accessible price points,” Kubiak said.
The result, Kubiak added, are homes in Misty Ridge that have a custom look given Beechen & Dill’s lengthy option list and flexibility to meet homeowners’ unique desires.
“So many who visit us say they can’t tell which floor plan is which,” he said. “We take that as a compliment. It not only means we’re building homes that have character, but that each home we build reflects the personality of those who inhabit it.”
