Misty Ridge sets benchmark for quality in Romeoville

May 25, 2007

In the realm of success, an old adage prophesies that lightning never strikes twice. However, in the case of Beechen & Dill Builders, they've defied the odds - not just twice, but with each endeavor they've pursued. And with the debut of their newest community, Misty Ridge in Romeoville, they're on par to exceed even their own expectations.

Since Misty Ridge's grand opening in February, sales have been outpacing their competition, and demand and momentum for the homes keeps rising exponentially. Matt Dill, director of operations, attributes this to the Beechen & Dill winning combination of quality and value.

"For more than 30 years, we've been a premier custom home builder. Personalized service and quality are the hallmarks of our business. We take pride in every single home we build, whether it's a million dollar dwelling or a $300,000 semicustom home," he said.

And buyers are taking note. Misty Ridge is slated for 166 single-family homes spanning 65 acres. In an era of exorbitant home prices, Misty Ridge offers buyers affordable luxury, with four lavish floor plans to suit any lifestyle: The Aspen, Breckenridge, Telluride and Whistler, offering between 2,483 and 3,535 square feet of living space.

Priced from $299,900 to $357,990 and up, these spacious, well-planned homes come with many standard amenities ranging from 4 to 6 bedrooms; 2 1/2 to 4 baths; and two- to three-car garages.

With Phase II on the cusp of officially beginning, anticipation is expected to increase even further.

"We are experiencing an incredible turnout each weekend, around 30 to 40 people each day," noted Jessica Nietzel, community consultant. "People are really excited about these homes, because there simply isn't another comparable product out there. They love the floor plans and the vast amenities that they include."

Each of the four models is distinctive with its own unique features. From two-story foyers to dramatic split staircases to spacious living and storage spaces, Misty Ridge epitomizes affordable luxury.

"Our buyers are astounded not only by the quality of our construction, but by all the creative custom accoutrements that can be added," Nietzel said.

For example, buyers may choose to add "art niches" or arched alcoves in the hallways to give added depth and character to their home. Or when entering the laundry room or kitchen (per plan), "bench and hook" seating provides an aesthetically pleasing option for coat, shoes, purse or backpack storage. In addition, there are myriad structural options for customizing the homes' interior and exterior.

"Overall, we're offering our buyers a great home at an extraordinary value. That's exciting to our buyers, and to Beechen & Dill as well," Nietzel conceded.

The carefully planned community will boast three ponds and a scenic 10-acre park with biking/walking/running paths. Paths to local elementary and middle schools are accessible via the park.

Beechen & Dill Builders invite you to view Misty Ridge's three professionally decorated models, and see for yourself how your new home can be a legacy of distinction. To access the community, take I-55 or I-355 to Weber Road, as well as to Route 53. The sales center is located on Normantown Road. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
